Ziegfeld Girl: 1923

Ziegfeld Follies girl Lucile Layton. A native of Yonkers born in 1903, she died at age 101 in 2004. Layton was one of the last Ziegfeld Follies Girls, having appeared in the Follies from 1921 to 1924. Before that she was in the Midnight Frolics produced by Ziegfeld. As a child, she appeared in several D.W. Griffith films. National Photo Company photo published in 1923.
