Native American Princess: early 1900s

Native American entertainer Tsianina Redfeather Blackstone, a celebrated Cherokee-Creek mezzo-soprano, seated at a piano with sheet music. Tsianina sang on the Metropolitan Opera stage and on the battlefields of France. During World War I, Tsianina traveled to Europe to entertain the American army. Her name as an entertainer was Princess Tsianina. She died in 1985 at the age of 102.
