Mani or Pedi?: 1910s

Man giving a manicure - or is it a pedicure - to an elephant in Central Park, New York City. Other photos in the series describe the elephant as Hattie. The man doing the work is probably Bill Snyder, head keeper at the Central Park Zoo. No date with photo, but probably 1910s. Hattie was brought to New York in 1903 and died in 1922.
